    Having played online at multiple gaming sites over the past 15+ years, I can assure you that first of all there is no way online poker sites can track what you are doing in your office or at home. That having been said, if you are using a poker calculator or a team of friends or perhaps you even have a professional there with you, makes absolutely no difference. What and how you play in the privacy of your home or office cannot be tracked by any online site.

    In the multitude of poker sites today and the millions of people who are actually playing for real money, there are poker calculators, poker odds charts, and many other devices popping up. These will actually help you to make decisions on whether or not you should play in a hand any further, or even to begin with.

    Now getting back to our poker odds calculator. If you would feel more comfortable, by all means use one. There are in fact some really good ones out there. The true problem is not whether or not the poker room you are playing in has a rule against it, but what good it is going to do you. You are most likely asking yourself right now, “What in the world is he talking about?” That is a very good question.

    A friend of mine once said, “When the number of players in a tournament is high enough, luck runs all over skill…skill is just the price of admission.” That is why a calculator won’t help you in poker today.
